On June 6, 1944 the 2nd Ranger
Battalion assaulted the beachhead at Normandy on Omaha Beach. Under tremendous
fire they scaled the treacherous cliffs at Ponte-Du-Hoc. The Germans defending
Ponte-Du-Hoc made many attempts to dislodge the Rangers. But to no avail, the
Rangers were victorious and once again proved their elite status. This Ranger
sports the heavy BAR weapon. Sculpted at the moment of attack on top of the Ponte-Du-Hoc
cliffs. This limited edition figurine ( 500 worldwide ) can now be yours. Each
casting is reinforced with stainless steel. The base has been carefully created
to faithfully render the craggy cliff terrain found at Ponte-Du-Hoc. The Ranger
comes complete with assault kit and shovel. Painted with vibrant acrylic paints
and dual coated with a polymer finish this is a museum quality collectable like
no other 1/9th scale. Made in the U.S.A.
